Let's Study Korean Language !

When we want to learn Korean, the first step to do is learn to read Hangul (Han-Geul / 한글). Just info, in ancient times when people use the Korean Hanja writing, which is identical with the ancient Chinese writings. Only posts that include logograf (ideograf), in which each character represents a word or morpheme. For fluent reading and writing posts Hanja, Korean people have to memorize a lot of form letters, a result only the educated are literate. Then, in the mid-15th century, Sejong the Great (세종 대왕), Joseon dynasty king who reigned in Korea at that time, have an idea how to improve the literacy levels of the Korean people, that is by creating an easy to learn featural alphabet, Hangul.

Here I want to share a practical way of studying the Korean (Hangul characters). A Hangul character is composed of two or more units. The unit consists of a few consonants and vowels, namely:
14 basic consonants + 5 double consonants

gndrmbs-jchktph

kk
tt

ppss
jj

6 basic vowels + 15 derivatives (+ i, + y, + w)

aeooueui
aeeoewiui

yayeoyoyu

yaeye

wawo

waewe

Way of preparation of these units are generally above below, or above bottom right .

From the picture above, note also that there are some consonants that would change the sound when placed under a (final), among others:

: from 'r' so 'l'
: from no sound to be 'ng'
: from 's' so 't'

In conclusion, for the control of Hangul, we actually only need to memorize the form of units 20, 14 base + 6 vocal consonant base. Moreover, we quite understand the patterns of improvisation in each unit, whether didobel, + i, + + w or y. This is what makes writing Korean (Hangul) is much easier to learn than Chinese characters or Hanja.
