Chanyeol, If I were to speak about this photo, it was taken by a fan while we were getting ready to depart for Hong Kong. [T/N: Both EXO and Block B attended MAMA 2012 in Hong Kong.] It's been almost 5 years since I last met EXO's Chanyeol-hyung. We used to go to the same acting academy, and throughout our 2 years there, we always practised together. However, we both got busier as the years passed. I debuted first, but not long after, he debuted as well, under the group named EXO. This time, they received the rookie award at MAMA. As they ascended the stage to the receive it, I couldn't help but smile and feel proud, hehehe~ EXO, congratulations on receiving the award~!! Hello everybody~! Today was my birthday party, I was really very happy! Even though there were many moments which were quite awkward… It seemed that many things happened during the party! There was dancing and singing… And also because of the lie detector, I almost had a heart attack… It’s not easy to see me like that… Hahaha. But since everyone have us lots of support I didn’t feel embarrassed and felt that it was very fun! Today’s birthday party felt like the best party I’ve ever had. I’m very happy as I’m able to have a birthday party with everyone and so many people after debuting! Hahaha. Even though its a pity that there’s still a lot of people who didn’t go through this with us, the time we can be together isnt restricted to only my birthday! No matter what, I’m the happiest when I see everyone while I’m on stage so it’d be enough if we were to do that in the future! I am very thankful to those who were together with me today! Though many iffy moments occurred..
I think that this was a party during which very many events happened!
Danced..sang.. and even almost caused a heart attack through electric shock..
It's really not easy to witness such an image..ㅋㅋㅋ
But it was fun and I wasn't embarrassed at all because you all cheered for me a lot!

I think that today's birthday party was really the best among all the parties up until now!
It was the first party I had with all of you since debuting,
and I'm so happy because it was really the first time celebrating a birthday with so many people like this! ㅋㅋㅋ

Although it's unfortunate that there were many people who couldn't be with us today,
my birthday isn't the only moment you'll be together with us!
And above all, because meeting all of you from on stage is the most joyful,

About Chanyeol Lasik Surgery

Chanyeol recently had Laser Eye Surgery and his eyes are incredibly sensitive to bright lights. He’s technically not even supposed to go outside without a pair of black-out sunglasses.
He's not blind ~ but if he see anything it's blur because of that flash light.  His eyes are watering, stingingHe can barely blink! All these flashing lights are making it impossible. Kris is helping him. Telling him where the cameras are, making sure he doesn’t fall, and supporting him. 
But he did this surgery because he has minus too ~ 
 
I wish fans would stop for two seconds and pay attention. He needs to protect his eyes, otherwise the surgery was for not. He got it done to please us in the first place. Don’t make it more difficult for him..

Turn off the flash. Get a crappy quality photo for once. Deal with it because guess what? You saw your idol in person and not a lot of people can say that. Be thankful and put the damn camera away. That is all.

 

SM really knows how to piss people off.

Stop torturing Chanyeol and let the poor boy heal for Christ’s sake, he’s not a perfect little puppet.

A new group came out from SM Entertainment 2 years ago, but EXO-K is the first male idolgroup after 4 years. With them appearing, this year’s competition for the rookie singer award is getting even more fierce. My name is Chanyeol. Birth name is Park Chanyeol
I was born on November 27th 1992. I have an older sister who’s three years apart from me
My older sister, when she say my pre-debut pictures she said “Hey, your pre-debut photos are all on the internet! I didn’t even know”. Even though she doesn’t really talk about stars, she still seems to be really proud of me
I’m exactly 185cm tall. I haven’t been growing for about two years now. And comparing to other people, my ears are more protruding than the rest, my eyes are also very big, not to mention my irregular size of teeth. Haha
So the fans gave me a nickname called ‘Wealthy Teeth’. During the fansign not long ago, there were a lot of fans who showed a lot of interest in me, so it felt good
EXO-K and EXO-M combined makes 12 members, all of them that came out in the teaser. Because many teasers have passed by before I came out, my mother would call me and say “When are you coming out? I’m waiting to see you and hear your sound”. My friends would also say “Why aren’t you coming out? Did they kick you off the team?” Actually, I was a little nervous.. haha!
From the 1st year of Highschool (9th grade) I became a trainee in SM Entertainment. Honestly, everyone knew about this (that he became a trainee), I was still a little shy
When I’m in middle school, I became really good friends with a group of people in a band called “Heavy Noise”. The band is something similiar to Nirvana, X Japan, and I really liked it. And when I’m in Highschool I was in a band called “Siren”.
When we were practicing the choreography for > I really thought I was the weakest link. Haha. At first we thought “We’re so dead” but because of the extra help one-on-one from Kai and Sehun, we really improved a lot, so its a relief.
I have the power to control fire, a phoenix is…. theres no joy. (Kai: This charm is a little weak…) For the next album, maybe there could be use for fire.
